LEVISTANCE In prayer room
Before the team LEVISTANCE was established in 2018, we were young worshipers who remained in our own places of worship, each one breaking our alabaster jar before the Lord, offering our youth and dreams to God.
To this day, we serve weekly at the Prayer Room of the Korean New Moravian Community (KNMC) House of Prayer. Regardless of the number gathered, we lift up worship with our eyes fixed on the One true audience—God alone.
The prayer room is not just a place of ministry, but a space where our core value of “One Thing” is lived out.
A place where we learn to stay and dwell in His presence.
A place where we recognize that in His presence, there is true joy and the source of ministry (Ps 27:4).
A place where we are reminded that ministry is not carried out by human strength, but is the very act of carrying God’s presence.
We remain in the prayer room to behold, know, and love Jesus more and more (Luke 10:38-42).
As the bride waits for her bridegroom, this is how we wait for our Lord Jesus and prepare His return (Matt 25:1-13).
2018년, ‘레비스탕스’라는 팀이 세워지기 전, 저희는 각자의 자리에서 기도실에 머물던 청년들이었습니다. 각자의 옥합을 주님께 깨뜨리며, 젊음과 꿈을 드려 그 자리를 지켜온 예배자들이었습니다.
지금도 저희는 매주 한국 뉴모라비안 커뮤니티(KNMC) 기도의 집의 기도실 (Prayer Room) 예배를 섬기고 있습니다. 회중이 많든 적든, 오직 한 분 청중 되신 하나님만을 바라보며 예배하는 자리입니다.
그래서 저희에게 기도실은 단순한 사역의 자리가 아닙니다.
이곳은 레비스탕스의 핵심 가치인 ‘원띵(One Thing)’을 살아내는 자리입니다.
주님의 임재 안에 거하며, 그분의 아름다움만을 바라보는 자리. 그리고 그것이 저희의 기쁨이며, 사역의 원동력임을 기억하고 날마다 경험하는 자리입니다 (시편 27:4).
이곳은 또한 하나님의 임재를 배우는 자리입니다.
사역은 우리의 능력으로 하는 것이 아니라, 하나님의 임재를 운반하는 것임을 배우는 자리입니다.
더 나아가, 저희는 한 분 신랑 되신 예수님을 바라보고, 알고, 사랑함으로 사역하기 위해 기도실에 머뭅니다 (누가복음 10:38-42).
이것이 레비스탕스가 다시 오실 주님을 기다리며, 그분의 오실 길을 예비하는 방식입니다. (마태복음 25:1-13)
